The New Gretna Friendy Seniors meet on the 2nd Friday of every month at the New Gretna Presbyterian Church, 14 North Maple Avenue. Meetings begin at 12 Noon or 1 PM depending on whether lunch is served. This year's meetings have included a pizza party, an ice cream social, a book and CD swap, and a variety of speakers on historical and senior citizen related topics. Refreshments and fellowship end every meeting. Day trips are often taken on the 3rd Friday of the month. Call Pat Steinhaurer at 296-4544 for information. Seniors from Bass River and surrounding communities are encouraged to join.

Due to the National medical crisis- Township and Court offices will be closed to the public. Employees will still be working and able to take phone calls, accept payments and correspondence via the drop off box - located at the front door by the Tax office.
For your financial security please pay by check or money order if using the drop box, or online payment is always an option.
In addition, per CDC recommendation, township parks will be closed until further notice.
Dump (convenience center) hours to return to normal starting Tuesday, March 24th. Please have current dump sticker or proof of residency. Dump stickers are free of charge and may be obtained at the gate with proof of residency.
